In a bad weather, most probably in a foggy weather it is very difficult to drive because many people do not know how to use driving lights during this season. During foggy weather it is very necessary for drivers to use their car lights appropriately. According to the law, the inappropriate use of light during this weather is illegal. The traffic police may charge you fine if your car light is not strong enough to face the fog weather.

These days, many modern cars are equipped with rear fog lights which provide better visibility during foggy weather. If your car has not equipped with fog lights then you do not need to worry. The appropriate use of driving lights may make your journey safe during this weather. For this you should follow some tips and regulations, and are as follows –
If the fog is not very dense then you should use your car back and front emergency lights because these lights are visible from the long distance.
Use high beam driving lamps if the visibility is 100 meters or less, but you should remember to switch them off when visibility improves. Otherwise, you can have to give penalty to the traffic police.
Always try to drive at a steady speed and try to keep distance between your car and the car in front.
Following the above mentioned tips, you can make your journey safe and happy, and you do not need to equip your car with advanced lighting systems.
